This book chapter looks into a project utilising a participatory art methodology with a group of women staying in a shelter for survivor of domestic abuse. Adopting a critical perspective it analyses the constraints and potentials of the methodology we used, while it also looks into the reciprocal affects such a project brings into light among researchers and participants.
